Do you know the story of Saint Lucy? About a woman who refused to give up her values, losing her freedom. She took her eyes off to protect herself. According to one legend, her eyesight returned. In the north, she is a patron of light. It touches me very deeply. Saint Lucy Day in Sweden heralds the arrival of longer days. Francesco del Cossa painted her with the motif of holding a flower with her eyes. For me, this image has many meanings. It is a story about the strength of a woman, about acting in fear and despite, defending one's values, the right to freedom, and the light that brings hope in the darkest moment. I wanted this motif to accompany me on this artistic path. ⚘

Linocut is a handmade printmaking technique, where an artist carves a design into a linoleum block and prints it with ink onto paper, making each print truly one-of-a-kind.

The artwork is sold unframed and carefully packaged to ensure its safety. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity and a description of the print, personally signed by the artist.

This is how I made Moon Boy

“Moon Boy” began as a printed stack of A4 pages gifted to me by Mad Bartnicka. I read the book in that raw, paper form, and from there the image slowly started to take shape. Sketches turned into digital work, digital lines into carved marks, and finally ink met paper. From first drawing to final print - it’s a quiet, beautiful kind of magic.
